Kristin Dimuzio Obituary Moon Township PA, Death:- Kristin Beth DiMuzio, aged 43, of Moon Township, passed away on April 3, 2025, after a courageous battle with Moyamoya disease, surrounded by her loved ones at UPMC Montefiore.
Born on January 7, 1982, in Beaver to Danny and Jeannie Leonard, Kristin devoted her life to family and community. She married Luke DiMuzio in 2014, and together they raised their two children, James (9) and Anna (7), in a marriage characterized by love, compassion, and service.
Kristin’s influence extended beyond her family. A graduate of Hopewell High School, where she served as class president and cheerleader, she earned her degree in education from Slippery Rock University.
She began her teaching career in Las Vegas before returning to Pittsburgh, teaching briefly in the Mt. Lebanon School District. Her commitment to education led her to St. Philips Preschool, where she not only taught but also actively supported the school and its community.
Her philanthropic spirit shone through her volunteer work with organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation and her involvement in community activities related to her children’s interests, including the Moon Crescent Athletic Association and Bon Meade Elementary.
K nown for her dedication, Kristin was an essential part of various local programs, from dance to hockey, positively impacting countless lives. Kristin is survived by her devoted husband, Luke, her children, and a wide circle of family and friends, including her mother Jeannie, brother Michael, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews who cherished her. A lifelong member of her Catholic faith, she was deeply involved in her church community.
Visitation will take place on April 8, 2025, at Tatalovich Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on April 9. Interment will occur at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Kristin’s legacy of love, service, and inspiration will continue to resonate with all who knew her.
