Dalton Kalas Death Belvidere IL Obituary:- Dalton William Kalas, 28 died in an accident on April 4, 2025. A Rockford, Illinois native, he was the cherished son of William Ray Kalas and Jesica Irene Mackey Kalas.
Dalton grew up in a loving family, maintaining strong connections with his brother, nieces, and extended relatives. After graduating from Belvidere High School, he excelled as a travel maintenance technician at Advanced Technology Services, specializing in CNC equipment maintenance.
Known for his warm and generous nature, Dalton was heavily involved in community service, volunteering at the American Legion and participating in the Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L.). His coworkers and friends admired his exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Outside of work, Dalton embraced adventure and simple pleasures, enjoying activities such as demolition derbies, motorcycle riding, and casual gatherings around bonfires. He found joy in socializing, bowling, and spending time outdoors.
Dalton’s most treasured role was that of an uncle, adoring his nieces, Jayden, Lily, and Olivia, and dedicating time to create cherished memories with them. His kindness, loyalty, and support deeply impacted everyone around him, making his untimely passing a significant loss.
He is survived by his parents, Jess and Bill Kalas; his brother William (Kayla) Kalas; his nieces; his grandmother, Marlene Mackey (GG); numerous relatives and friends. Dalton is welcomed into heaven by his brothers, Cody and Jordan Kalas, along with grandparents and uncle.
Visitation will occur on April 9, 2025, followed by a funeral service at Anderson Funeral Home in Belvidere. Dalton’s legacy of love will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
